Critical Fix: 0 Pages Indexed

Google Search Console Setup Guide

Your website has 688+ URLs but Google has indexed 0 of them. This guide will fix that. Follow these steps exactly and your pages will start appearing in Google within 1-2 weeks.

The Problem

  • • Google Search Console shows 0 indexed pages
  • • Google found 4 pages but hasn't indexed them
  • • You have 0 web search clicks from Google
  • • Domain verification is not complete

This means Google doesn't know your site exists. All your 90 blog posts, 22 calculators, 50 state pages, and 21 comparison pages are invisible to Google.

The Solution: Use URL Prefix (Not Domain)

Instead of domain verification (which needs DNS access), use the URL prefix method. We already have the verification meta tag in your website's HTML.

  1. 1

    Go to Google Search Console

    search.google.com/search-console
  2. 2

    Click "Add Property"

Don't choose "Domain" — choose "URL prefix" instead

  3. 3

    Enter your URL

    https://leadhunting.app

    Make sure to include https://

  4. 4

    Choose "HTML tag" verification

Don't use "Domain name provider" — use "HTML tag"

Google will show a meta tag. Our site ALREADY has this tag:

    <meta name="google-site-verification" content="ZyqHyjlIcbEM8YC5rrHJN88h_a2tR8if-oNCn3KOkMY" />
  5. 5

    Click "Verify"

Google will check for the meta tag. It's already in our HTML, so verification should be instant!

  6. 6

    Submit your sitemap

After verification, go to "Sitemaps" in the left menu and submit:

    https://leadhunting.app/sitemap.xml

    Also submit: https://leadhunting.app/sitemap-blog.xml

  7. 7

    Request indexing for key pages

Use "URL Inspection" tool to request indexing for:

    • • https://leadhunting.app/ (homepage)
    • • https://leadhunting.app/blog (blog index)
    • • https://leadhunting.app/pricing
    • • https://leadhunting.app/calculators
    • • https://leadhunting.app/glossary

What Happens After You Verify

Day 1: Verification complete

Google confirms you own the site. Sitemap submitted.

Days 2-7: Google starts crawling

Google discovers your 688+ URLs from the sitemap. Starts crawling blog posts first (they have full content in HTML).

Weeks 2-4: Pages start indexing

Google indexes 50-200 pages. You'll see them appear in "Indexing" report. Organic traffic starts trickling in.

Months 2-6: Rankings improve

Google indexes all 688+ URLs. Long-tail keywords start ranking. Organic traffic grows to 500-2,000 visits/month.

Months 6-12: Scale to 10K+

With 90+ blog posts indexed, backlinks building, and consistent content, traffic grows to 10,000+ visits/month.

Also Submit to Bing Webmaster Tools

Bing drives 5-10% of US search traffic. It's free and fast to set up.

  1. 1.Go to Bing Webmaster Tools
  2. 2.Sign in with Microsoft account
  3. 3.Add site: https://leadhunting.app
  4. 4.Verify via meta tag (same as Google)
  5. 5.Submit sitemap: https://leadhunting.app/sitemap.xml

Why Pages Aren't Indexed Yet

Domain not verified — Google can't confirm you own the site. Fix: use URL prefix method above.
Sitemap not submitted — Google doesn't know about your 688 URLs. Fix: submit sitemap after verification.
Homepage is JavaScript-rendered — Google can read meta tags but not the full content. Blog posts ARE server-rendered and will index fine.
No backlinks — Google prioritizes sites with backlinks. Build backlinks via guest posts, HARO, directories.
New domain — Google takes longer to trust new domains (sandbox effect). Be patient.
